Australia all out for 222 in first innings against Pakistan

DUBAI – Pakistan bowled out Australia for 222-runs. Debutant Pakistan off-spinner Bilal Asif led an Australian collapse with six wickets on the third day of the first Test in Dubai on Tuesday.

Australia slumped from a solid opening stand of 142-0 to be struggling on 180-5 at tea on a Dubai stadium pitch which has started to take a sharp turn.

Australia trail by 280 runs.

Usman Khawaja was the top scorer with 85 runs and Aaron Finch made 62 runs for the Kangaroos.

Bilal, 33 finished with the figures of 6/36 in 21.3 overs on his Test debut.

Mohammad Abbas grabbed four wickets in the match.

Pakistan in their first innings scored 482 runs with Muhammad Hafeez and Haris Sohail making tons.
