LAHORE – Begum Kulsoom Nawaz, the wife of former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, passed away at the age of 68 in London on Tuesday following a months-long fight with cancer. As the news of her demise spread, messages of condolences began to pour in for the Sharif family.
Many Pakistani celebs including Hamza Ali Abbasi, Malala Yousafzai, Hareem Farooq, Meera Jee, Feroze Khan, Resham and HSY also expressed their sadness over the former first lady’s passing away.

The Namaz-e-Janaza of Begum Kalsoom Nawaz will be offered at Regents Park Mosque on Thursday and then the dead body will be sent to the homeland, Pakistan for Burial at Jati Umrah, Lahore.
