Sanjay Dutt was previously found to have returned to reported late to police from his furlough in January 2015. As a result the authorities decided to extend his imprisonment by five days.

However the latest orders did not penalise Sanjay and said the actor was in touch with police officials continuously for extension in his furlough duration.
