PM Nawaz launches education reforms program

ISLAMABAD (APP) - Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif Friday formally launched the education reforms program in Islamabad.

Addressing the launching ceremony of the reforms program at Islamabad Model School for Girls Panjgaran in Islamabad, he said the government is determined to ensure quality education for all and ensure enrollment of all the children in schools.

Nawaz Sharif said that under the reforms program, all the four hundred and twenty two schools and colleges in the capital territory will be upgraded and equipped with state of the art facilities. The Prime Minister also announced purchase of two hundred new buses for capital territory schools.

He directed that all facilities should be provided in the school and colleges for imparting quality education to the students.

The Prime Minister was accompanied by Maryam Nawaz, Information Minister Pervaiz Rashid, Minister of State for CADD Dr. Tariq Fazal Chaudhry and other high-ranking officials.
