#RehamKhan top discussed on Twitter as Imran Khan, Reham Khan confirm divorce

LAHORE (Staff Report)  - As Pakistan's cricketer-turned-politician Imran Khan and his second wife Reham Khan Friday confirmed their divorce, #RehamKhan became top discussed topic on Twitter.

Thousands of users used the hashtag to react to the 'breaking news' which was first broken by renowned journalist Arif Nizami weeks ago. However Imran Khan and circles close to him straightly rejected the report terming it completely false and baseless.

Imran and Khan and Reham Khan, who are active twitter users as well, also became part of discussion on the micro-blogging website. They quashed the rumors of financial settlement in their tweets.

Earlier on January 7 this year, the couple tied knot in a simple ceremony in Islamabad, after weeks long denial to media reports claiming that couple was set to marry.

It is also pertinent to be mentioned here that Imran Khan's sisters and other family members had not attended the marriage ceremony. They were unhappy over Khan's relationship with TV anchor Reham Khan, according to reports.

Imran Khan had previously married British national Jemima Goldsmith but later the they decided to part their ways. The couple has two boys from their marriage.
