PESHAWAR – A politician was arrested for manhandling and pointing his pistol at a policeman in Peshawar following a dispute over traffic ticket, sources said Friday.

Video footage shows Muhammad Gul, who belongs to Awami National Party (ANP), being stopped by the traffic warden for running a red light.

The warden also pointed out the use of tinted glass on vehicle’s windowpanes, over which the ANP politician got infuriated and pointed his pistol on one of the cops at scene.

However, the police arrested the man and sent him to lockups.
