TORKHAM (Staff Report) – Pakistan and Afghanistan have agreed that no Afghan would travel to Pakistan without valid travel documents after April 30.
The consensus reached at a meeting in the border town of Torkham between civil and military officials of Pakistan and Afghanistan.
Kabul, however, has urged Islamabad to relax travel restrictions for Afghan citizens, especially women, children and patients entering Pakistan.
The meeting also reviewed border security arrangements and matters related to information sharing about movement of terrorists.
