LAHORE (Web Desk) – Pakistan’s Gross Domestic Product (GDP) growth was recorded at 5.1% for the financial year 2014-15. Among the major sectors, agriculture showed a growth of 3.3%, industry grew by 6.8% while the services sector recorded a growth of 5.2%, reported local media.
The start of the year wasn’t encouraging since the major province of the country, Punjab, was facing serious floods while the political instability and terrorism marred the confidence of the investors in the country. However, the situation started to improve by the end of 2014 and the major economic indicators started to improve.
