Punjab govt ends waiting period for Motorcycle licenses

LAHORE – The government of Punjab has simplified Motorcycle Licensing with immediate issuance to pass on relief to masses who used to face issues amid stern implementation of bike licensing.

Authorities in country’s most populated region removed required waiting period for acquiring license of two wheelers.

Currently, the standard 42-day learner’s phase has been suspended for a limited period.

Lahore’s Chief Traffic Officer, Amara Athar said that individuals can now take the licensing test and receive their motorcycle license immediately after obtaining the learner’s permit.

Bikers can choose from licenses valid for one, two, or five years.
