LAHORE – Pakistani director, producer and writer Idrees Adil passed away today (Thursday). Adil had a heart attack on November 2 in his production house Although he was taken to the hospital as soon as possible, he was unable to survive.
His first film Champion as a director was scheduled for release next week on November 10.
Aik Dhi Punjab Di was his first film as a producer, Adil produced many TV shows, which included Hum Teen, Chaudharani and Comedy Clinic.
He will be buried today at his residence in Daska, Punjab.
