I've been in relationships, but never dated, says Priyanka

MUMBAI - Bollywood actress and former Miss World Priyanka Chopra has said she has been in relationships in the past, but has never dated anyone.

Priyanka has always been outspoken and her social media accounts are proof enough of this. Previous statements by her like, "I don't need a man for anything, but for children," have not gone down well with her fans; however, they also understood her larger point, according to the Indian media.



She had also once said, "I have a personal life. I don’t like talking about it. I am private about it. I’ve never flaunted my relationships, I have protected them," regarding why she preferred to keep her relationships a secret.



In a recent interview, the former Miss World revealed that she doesn't believe in dating. According to her, her criteria of being in a relationship with a man is different.



She said, “I've always been in relationships. I've never dated. You like someone, you court each other and then you get into a relationship. You are answerable to each other. Whereas the non-answerability of dating, my God, I don't know if I would ever be able to.”
