LAHORE – The Federal Investigation Agency’s (FIA) Cybercrime Wing on Tuesday arrested YouTuber Dr Umar Adil in connection with another case involving the use of inappropriate language towards women.
Dr Umar Adil’s lawyer confirmed the arrest, stating that PML-N spokesperson Azma Bukhari filed the case, leading to his arrest by the FIA.
According to lawyer Salman Aslam, a case has been registered against Dr Umar Adil in the FIA Cybercrime Wing. He will be presented in the district court tomorrow for physical remand.
The lawyer also mentioned that Umar Adil has apologised multiple times for his statement.
