LAHORE – Zindigi Prize, Pakistan’s most significant social entrepreneurship competition aimed at empowering the changemakers of tomorrow, recently concluded another remarkable regional event in Lahore with a grand closing ceremony.
This three-day event, hosted by Zindigi powered by JS Bank in collaboration with the University of Lahore, showcased the innovative ideas and immense potential of young Pakistani entrepreneurs, significantly impacting the entrepreneurial landscape.
Zindigi Prize, which engaged over 160 universities, ignited enthusiasm among aspiring entrepreneurs eager for seed funding and mentorship opportunities. The event started with a captivating opening ceremony at the University of Lahore, paving the way for a three-day extravaganza.
Day two was packed with workshops on marketing, idea pitching, fundraising, and scaling start-ups. Motivational talks from prominent Pakistani entrepreneurs inspired attendees. At the same time, the Speed Dating session provided a platform for students to connect with over 20 industry experts and receive valuable feedback on their start-up ideas.
Zindigi Prize announced its top innovators in the Punjab region, with HiRenze from the University of Engineering & Technology, Lahore, securing the top spot as the winner. CardioGuardian System from the University of Health Sciences, Lahore, was awarded the first runner-up position, while Relief from the University of Lahore earned the title of second Runner-Up.
