HBO REACTS: Donald Trump tweets a poster of himself with a catchphrase from Game of Thrones on it

LAHORE – POTUS tweeted a kind of poster of himself, with a play on the popular ‘Winter is coming’ catchphrase from Game of Thrones superimposed on it.

These new sanctions which are ‘coming’ will cover Iran’s shipping, financial and the extremely critical energy sectors.

HBO, the US network that produced Game of Thrones, was unimpressed, saying: “We were not aware of this messaging and would prefer our trademark not be misappropriated for political purposes.”

“How do you say trademark abuse in Dothraki,” one wrote, referring to the fictional language used in the fantasy series.

Others made their own memes.

LOL, Trump has succumbed to the GOT trend too we guess! But hello? He is running the United States, he could be a bit more formal with his tweets. This informal attempt at an announcement has enraged social media more rather than cracking them up.
