CALIFORNIA (Web Desk) – Smartphone giant “Apple” infamous for its age discrimination policy endorsed the notion by rejecting a former Apple engineer for a position at its “Genius Bar” store.
JK Scheinberg, the man who has under his belt the idea to move the Mac from PowerPC to Intel and a 21-year long experience at the same firm, was rejected from a job at Genius Bar.
The 54-year-old engineer who retired from Apple in 2008 mulled to serve the company again through a job at Apple store but the rejection came as a shock to the engineer.
JK was twice the age of all the interviewers he appeared before and to his misery all of them assured him that they would be intouch with him later that never happened.
Scheinberg ran the famous “Marklar” Intel project as well but Apple’s unofficial policy to prefer young blood hindered his way.
