Imran Khan s pets have their own Wikipedia page, leaving us confused

LAHORE – Wikipedia deleted pages belonging to Bakhtawar and Asifa Bhutto-Zardari stating that ‘notability is not inherited’. However the contradiction of the statement that Imran Khan’s dogs have their own Wikipedia page now named as “Pets of Imran Khan”.

Khan has five dogs named Sheru, Motu, Sherni, Pidu and Maximus, according to Wikipedia.

Wikipedia justifies the attention to the pets by comparing it to the pages of the US presidential pets.

“Wikipedia articles cover notable topics. If a topic or subject receives significant coverage in reliable secondary sources such as newspapers, then the topic/subject is considered notable and can have its standalone entry on Wikipedia”, Saqib of Wikipedia’s help desk confirmed.

There have been various rumours of Khan getting into marital tiffs due to his dogs. Even though his wives have denied such allegations, the dogs have been a topic of interest in Reham Khan’s book as well in which she often discusses the pets of the now PM alleging that Imran also practiced favouritism when it came to the furry friends.

Sheru was a gift from former Pakistan President Pervez Musharraf and as per reports it is said that Sheru has passed away some time ago.
