ISLAMABAD – Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif on Thursday called Taimoor Jamshed, son of Junaid Jamshaid, to condole with him the death of his father and Pakistan’s iconic figure who perished along with his family in a plane crash yesterday.
According to a statement issued from Prime Minister house, Nawaz Sharif also called the father of Osama Warraich Deputy Commissioner of Chitral and condoled the death of his young and outstanding son who died along with his wife and daughter.
The PM said that the entire nation is deeply saddened over the unfortunate crash and shared the grief of families who have lost their dear ones.
A PIA plane with 47 people on-board crashed near Havelian city of Abbottabad district on Wednesday.
Flight PK-661 “lost contact with the control tower on its way from Chitral to Islamabad a short while ago,” the airline said in a statement.
