ISLAMABAD (Staff Report) – Federal Commerce Minister Khurram Dastgir Monday said that about Rs600 billion are paid every year to meet losses of the state enterprises.
Speaking at the oath-taking ceremony of Photo Journalists Association Gujranwala, he said the government is committed to privatising the loss-making state entities to reduce burden on the national exchequer.
The Minister said PIA will be turned into a profitable organization in near future as government has decided to take key steps in this direction.
