LAHORE – Noor ul Hassan, a 330-kg obese man who hailed from Sadiqabad city of Punjab, breathed his last at a hospital in Lahore on Monday.
Hassan, who underwent surgery at the Shalimar hospital a few weeks back, lost his life after a commotion erupted at the hospital.
‘Noor ul Hassan lost his life due to a disturbance at the Intensive Care Unit of the hospital,’ Dr Muaz said.
On the other hand, his family claimed that heart attack proved fatal for Hassan who was relocated to the hospital on the directives of the military chief, General Qamar Javed Bajwa.
Hassan had appealed to the higher-ups to help him in treatment as he was unable to afford it following which an air ambulance airlifted him to Lahore; Chief of the Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa had ordered his treatment.
Hassan underwent successful surgery and was poised to reduce weight in a few months, however, he passed away at the hospital.
