ISLAMABAD – Chairman Awami Muslim League Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed faced a hard time outside the parliament on Thursday when a furious worker of ruling PML-N accused him of not paying him Rs 2.2 million against the purchase of a vehicle.
According to Geo News, Rasheed who came out of the lower house of parliament confronted a man named Malik Noor Awan who demanded his hefty amount pending on part of Sheikh Rasheed.

Malik Noor Awan who is president of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz Japan faction stated that he sold a vehicle worth Rs 2.2 million to the legislator but the latter did not pay him the due amount.
“I am demanding my hard-earned money and for a poor man like me, Rs 2.2 million is a sizeable amount,” said Noor Awan.
When the face-off that happened outside gate number 1 of the parliament house prolonged, Sheikh Rasheed assured that man that he would pay him the amount soon.
However, the man refused to accept the verbal promise and demanded Rasheed to make a promise under oath in any mosque.
After the AML president saw no solution to the confrontation, he demanded the presiding officer to arrest the man.
The Rawalpindi stalwart then headed back to the parliament house and called on the interior minister to raise his concerns regarding the security of the building.
“As I said earlier, Parliament house is unsafe,” claimed Sheikh Rasheed.
Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan stated that any action would be taken in the light of instructions passed by the speaker of the house while confirming that the man was arrested.
Throwing weight behind Sheikh Rasheed, leader of the opposition Syed Khursheed Shah maintained that the issue was pivotal and stern action should be taken in this regard.
