SHARJAH – A new world record is now awarded to Sharjah International Book Fair (SIBF) 2019 for successfully hosting the world’s largest simultaneous book signing ceremony with 1,502 authors from the UAE and beyond signing their own books in one location on Thursday 8pm.
A Guinness World Records (GWR) official, present at the event confirmed, SIBF had beaten the previous record set by 1,423 authors in Turkey in 2010.
