One Indian soldier injured in Occupied Kashmir fresh attack

SRINAGAR – One soldier was Monday morning left severely injured when unidentified armed men opened fire outside a government building in Pampore area of the Indian-held Kashmir.

Indian media reported that ADI building was targeted in the attack which followed by a gun battle between the police and the gunmen.

Reports did not mention whether the attackers killed by the forces or they successfully fled the location.

The attacked building also caught fire during the encounter between the forces and the attackers, however, the fire was immediately contained by the fire brigade.

A search operation was started in the surrounding areas after the firing incident.
