MULTAN – A locally-known stage actress was killed at her house allegedly for honour in Multan on Monday, local media reported.
The police has started an investigation, while her husband named Azhar Ali, who had informed the police about the incident, has been taken into custody for interrogation following suspicion of the murder.
Last year, social media celebrity Qandeel Baloch was killed by her brother in the same city, Multan, also for ‘honour’.
The 26-year-old used to post risque videos and statements on Facebook that were not acceptable for her brother who strangled her to death.
