ABU DHABI – The UAE’s Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MoHRE) has announced that Sunday, 15 September, 2024 (12 Rabiul-Awwal 1446H) is a paid public holiday for private sector employees to mark the birthday of Prophet Muhammed (peace be upon him).
The decision aligns with the UAE Cabinet Resolution regarding the official public holidays for the public and private sectors for 2024.
On this occasion, MoHRE extends its sincere congratulations and best wishes to the UAE’s wise leadership, as well as to the citizens and residents of the UAE, read an official press release.
After this holiday, UAE residents will get long holidays in December for National Day. December 2 and 3 fall on Monday and Tuesday, respectively and they will combined with the Saturday-Sunday weekend to make a four-day holiday.
