A woman named Shehnaz from Upper Dir has travelled to Rawalpindi with the intention of marrying Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder and former prime minister Imran Khan.
In a video circulating on social media, Shehnaz claimed she made the journey from Upper Dir to marry Imran Khan. She expressed her commitment to the extent that she is even willing to go to jail for this purpose.
“I want to be with Imran Khan in jail,” she said, referring to the PTI leader’s current incarceration over multiple cases.

Imran Khan has been in Adiala Jail for nearly a year, convicted in four cases, including two Toshakhana references, the cipher case, and the Iddat case, in which his wife, Bushra Bibi, is also jailed.
While his Toshakhana sentences were suspended, and he was acquitted in the cipher and Iddat cases, the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) re-arrested the couple in a new Toshakhana case, delaying any potential release despite multiple acquittals in other cases.
