ISLAMABAD (Staff Report) – The All Pakistan Private Schools Federation (APPSF) has launched a strong rebuttal to the biography of world’s youngest Nobel Laureate Malala Yousafzai titled as “I Am Not Malala”.
“I Am Not Malala, I Am a Muslim, I am Pakistani” was introduced in a ceremony chaired by APPSF president Kashif Mirza at National Press Club in Islamabad.
Addressing the event Mirza said that “I Am Not Malala” explains nation’s resolve against terrorism and its quest to attain stability and peace. The book also mocks so-called war on terror which caused deaths of more than 70,000 Pakistanis and trillions of dollars loss to local economy, he said.
On the occasion APPSF president also criticised Malala Yousafzai’s “I Am Malala” calling government of Pakistan to ban it. He said that book carried derogatory remarks about Prophet Mohammad (SAW) and it failed to appreciate the contribution of Pakistani nation towards curbing terrorism.
He alleged that Malala Yousafzai had become a tool in the hands of those who want to destablise Pakistan. Malala did not say even a single word of condemnation on the acts of terrorism of Israel against Palestinian kids, he said.
