LAHORE – An 11-year-old boy mistakenly killed his mother after he fired a bullet while playing with a gun in Lower Mall area of Lahore.
A case has been registered at Lower Mall police station on a complaint by her husband Khurram Jahangir. Police have started interrogating the boy, identified as Zulqarnain.
Reports said the 11-year-old was playing with the gun when a bullet hit his mother in chest. Asma, 33, was rushed to hospital but she could not survive.
The body of the victim has been shifted to mortuary.
Meanwhile, DIG Operations has directed the SP City to monitor the case and investigate it from all angles.
