DUBAI – Australia defeated Pakistan by 9 wickets in the Women’s T20 World Cup match in Dubai on Friday.

Australia won the toss and opted to field. Pakistan was bowled out for just 82 runs in the final over, which became the lowest score in this World Cup.

Aliya Riaz was Pakistan’s top scorer with 26 runs, while Iram Javed and Sidra Ameen managed to score 12 runs each.

For Australia, Ashleigh Gardner took 4 wickets for 21 runs. Australia chased down the target of 83 with the loss of just one wicket in 11 overs.

Alyssa Healy was the top scorer of the match with 37 runs off 23 balls.
