ISLAMABAD – Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL) has launched a gamer hub for the gaming community at two-day ‘FACE Music Mela 2019’ which was started Friday at Pakistan National Council of Arts Islamabad.
This premier gaming event is aimed at providing computer and console gaming enthusiasts with the first-hand experience of PTCL’s high-speed internet. Online gaming is a positive entertainment and sporting activity that is imperative for the development of youth and is aligned with PTCL’s digital strategy said a statement issued here.
On the occasion, Chief Commercial Officer, PTCL, Moqeem ul Haque, said, “Leveraging Etisalat Group’s digital services and experience in UAE, PTCL is providing a platform with unlimited internet and data, where nation’s tech-savvy youth could experience seamless multi-player networked gaming within the country.

The company has started to transform its network under the Network Transformation Project (NTP) with up-gradation of top 100 exchanges across Pakistan. Under NTP, PTCL has already started offering Fiber-To-The-Home (FTTH) in selected areas in Pakistan with speeds up to 100mbps along with state-of-the-art technology, Gigabit Passive Optical Network (GPON).
