LAHORE (Staff Report) – Provincial Finance Minister Dr. Ayesha Ghaus Pasha has announced a 10 percent increase in the salaries of Punjab government employees in her annual budget speech in the Assembly on Monday.
According to details, a 10% increment in salaries and pensions of government employees has been announced, while a proposal of Rs. 1,000 increase in minimum monthly wage of laborers is also part of the budget for next fiscal year.
The minister added that 50,000 new jobs would be created in the police, and health and education in the coming year.
