MESSAGE IN A DESERT: Teen sends her heart to astronaut father

DELAMAR (Web Desk) – When you’re trying to write a message that can be seen from space, you’ve got to go big.

Fortunately for Hyundai, they had eleven Genesis sedans and a desert to use as canvas when 13-year-old Stephanie wanted to write a note to her father on the International Space Station.

In a fantastic new advert from the South Korean manufacturer, the cars use sat-navs and carefully drive just metres apart in order to write Stephanie’s enormous message across the dry expanse of Nevada’s Delamar Dry Lake.

In fact, the message was so large that Guinness credited it as being the world’s largest tire track image.

But would it be big enough for Stephanie’s father to see?

Communicating via video link from the ISS, Stephanie’s father shows his daughter the image he has taken on his camera:

‘Steph [hearts] you!’ it reads.
