India violating ceasefire to divert world attention from Kashmir: FO

ISLAMABAD – Foreign Office (FO) Spokesperson Nafees Zakaria has said India is continuously violating ceasefire to divert the attention of the world from gross human rights violations being committed by its security forces in Occupied Kashmir.

In an interview, he said Indian forces committed more than two hundred and fifty ceasefire violations during last few months, Radio Pakistan reported.

He said during unprovoked Indian firing twenty-six Pakistani civilians have been martyred and more than one hundred injured besides losses to the buildings.

Nafees Zakaria said seven armed personnel martyred during last night’s unprovoked firing have sacrificed their lives for the protection of the national objective. He commiserated with the bereaved families and paid rich tributes to the martyrs.

Foreign Office Spokesperson said India is involved in sponsoring and financing terrorist activities in Pakistan to destabilise it. He said India is also involved in activities against China-Pakistan Economic Corridor and creating law and order situation in Balochistan.
