Singer Rabi Pirzada faces criticism for keeping exotic animals

The Punjab Wildlife Protection and Parks Department has registered a complaint against singer Rabi Pirzada for reportedly keeping wild animals as pets at her beauty salon in Lahore.

Her pictures with exotic cobras, lions and crocodiles on social media have landed the Pyar Ki FIR starlet into hot water.

Legal action against Pirzada was taken by authorities after photos with her wild pets surfaced on social media.

The wildlife department sent her a legal notice in accordance with the the Punjab Wildlife (Protection, Conservation and Management) Act of 1974, which can result in imprisonment for two to three years with a penalty of up to Rs 20,000.
