Turkey s Tayyip Erdogan wants terrorism redefined

ANKARA (Staff Report) – A day after deadly Ankara bomb attack which claimed 37 lives, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has said that word terrorism needs to be redefined and supporters of such activities should also be called as terrorists.

Talking to newsmen, Erdogan said that there was no difference between conducting such attacks or justifying them using one’s pen and position. This could be anyone lawmaker, journalist or even an activist, they must be treated alike.

Meanwhile media reports suggest that Turkish Air Force targeted hideouts of a Kurdish militant group -which is often blamed for terrorist activities in Turkey- although none of such groups has so far claimed responsibility for the recent attack in Ankara.

Earlier this week, Turkish authorities had taken over the office of a newspaper which allegedly published content that supported Kurdish movement in Middle East.
