LAHORE – The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has decided to award a cash prize of Rs10 million to mentor of the Champions ODI Cup winning team Panthers.

Reports said Panthers mentor Saqlain Mushtaq will soon receive his reward from the PCB. This prize money is separate from the announced prize pool for the tournament.

The PCB had decided to provide this bonus amount as an encouragement to the winning amount.

It is recalled that Test cricketers Waqar Younis, Misbah-ul-Haq, Saqlain Mushtaq, Shoaib Malik, and Sarfaraz Ahmed were also assigned mentorship responsibilities. The mentors are also paid a monthly salary of Rs5 million.
