SHENZHEN – Chinese smartphone manufacturer Huawei’s two new devices have been certified by the Chinese regulator TENAA with model numbers ARS-TL00/ARS-AL00 and JKM-AL00.
Let it be known here that ARS-TL00 and ARS-AL00 are same devices but different in colour and JKM-AL00 is rumoured to be Y9 (2019).
ARS-TL00/ARS-AL00
The smartphone is similar to the Honor 8X Max in terms of some specifications. The device features a 7.12-inch LCD display with a resolution of 1080 x 2244 resolutions and waterdrop notch on the display
The chipset is not the same as on 8X Max, there’s an octa-core CPU of Qualcomm Snapdragon clocked at 1.95GHz.
The new listed smartphones feature a 4GB of RAM; there are two storage options on ARS-AL00 – 64GB and 128GB, while ARS-TL00 listed in 128GB variant only.
To power the SoC there’s a huge battery of 4900mAh.
Photo of the back of the ARS-TL00 reveals a white leather covered rear with faux decorative stitching while ARS-AL00 feature black leather on the back.
The phone will be equipped with a vertically mounted dual camera setup (16MP + 2MP) with an 8MP selfie snapper found in front and runs on Android Oreo 8.1.
JKM-AL00
There’s another device JKM-AL00 rumoured to be Huawei Y10 or Y9 (2019).
The listed specifications suggest that there’s a 6.5-inch display with the resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels.
There’s a battery of 3,900mAh and a new chipset – octa-core CPU at 2.2GHz (likely a Kirin 710).
The RAM is split between 4GB and 6GB, probably tied to the choice of storage – 64GB or 128GB and a microSD slot.
As for the camera, dual camera setup 20+2MP on the rear and 16MP on the front.
The image of the front clearly shows two camera lenses.
