Zoya has briefed Fawad about the basic premise of the film and the two will meet soon and take their discussion forward, sources revealed.
What Zoya is going to discuss with Fawad khan is her next directional endeavor. She believes that no other actor better suits the role as she is not looking for good looks only but the one who knows to carry out the character exactly as the producer wants it to be.
Sources say that Fawad has been picked ahead of Bollywood superhero Hritik Roshan. It shouldn’t be a surprise after how the Pakistani dreamboat earned all the plaudits for his extraordinary portrayal of gay man in ‘Kapoor & sons’.
Hritik has denied the news though. “I would never say no to an exceptional director like Zoya, however Zoya has not offered me any film recently.”
Zoya and I might work together very soon, added Hritik.
“I loved Fawad in Kapoor & Sons and decided to work with him right after watching the film. However, I never had him in mind while writing this film. Fawad totally fits the bill,” said Zoya, on picking Fawad Khan.
Fawad is also likely to land a role in a Karan Johar production soon, with big names like Ashwarya Rai Bachan, Anushka Sharma and Ranbir Kapoor at his side,
