Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh have been going strong for quite a while now, although neither has openly admitted to being in a relationship together. As expected, there has been much talk of the two getting married recently.
Although fans think the couple is forever, Karan Johar seems to be of the opinion that this might not be the case. Karan, on his new radio show, ‘Calling Karan’, expressed his concern for the couple when in a segment called ‘Reverse Rapid Fire’ a fan asked which couple would not survive a long distance relationship. To this, the host replied, “I think Ranveer and Deepika. They seem like they always need each other.”
The fact that Ranveer and Deepika rarely seem to let go of each other at events and parties only adds up to Karan Johar’s little insight on the couple’s relationship. In an interview to Filmfare, Deepika once said, “When we’re with each other, we don’t need anything or anyone else. We’re comfortable in each other’s presence. Sometimes it’s intelligent conversation, sometimes just silence, sometimes there’s a childlike innocence. We keep each other grounded. We are good in that sense.”
But does their incessant desire to be in each other’s company mean their relationship wont outlast time spent apart?
Time will tell what the future holds!
