MULTAN – Governor Punjab Malik Muhammad Rafique Rajwana has said that the government has taken concrete measures for the uplift of industrial sector.
He was addressing to the members of Multan Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Multan on Sunday.
He said that energy crisis has been tackled to a great extent and load-shedding will come to an end by 2018.
He said that Punjab Government attaches special priority to the education and health sector and projects worth of hundreds of billion rupees have been started in these sectors.
He said that issues of the business community are being resolved at national level as their contribution is vital for the booming economy.
He said that he suggested the Prime Minister to formally announce a forum for a continuous liaison between FBR and the business community for speedy resolution of the problems.
In reply to a question raised by president of Multan Chamber of Commerce and Industry, he said that a railway track will be laid between Sher Shah Railway Station to Multan Dry Port Trust.
He said that an Industrial Estate and expo display centre will be established in Multan very soon in order to promote the local industry.-Online
