LAHORE – The government has released the confessional video of the suspect who facilitated the suicide bomber of the Lahore blast that killed at least 15 people, including six policemen.
In a video confession, the handler, Anwar ul Haq, admitted his role in the bombing and other relevant details.
“I was associated with Jamaat-ul-Ahrar and they trained me,” said the suspect, adding that he has visited Afghanistan around 15 to 20 times. The suspect said the blast was targetted at the policemen.
He said the suicide bomber hailed from Afghanistan and entered through Torkham Border. “I brought him to Lahore and the truck driver was paid 2 lac for transporting suicide jacket to Lahore,” he added.
