KARACHI – Pakistan Navy on Friday caught an Indian submarine which was eyeing to enter in Pakistan’s territory.
According to Pakistan Navy officials, Pakistan Navy fleet after a hot pursuit caught Indian submarine ‘209’ and forced it to leave Pakistan’s territorial waters. The movement of Indian navy was also limited after the operation. Pakistan Navy spokesman said that Navy was capable enough to respond befittingly in case of any aggression.

The incident is a testimony of warfare capabilities of Pakistan’s anti-submarine fleet. Commodore (r) Ubaidullah while analysing the event expressed that Indian submarine wanted to target coastal area of Balochistan.
He went on to allege that India was targeting the multi-billion dollars China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) project.
