Gold prices decrease in Pakistan after hitting record high

KARACHI – Gold registered a decline in domestic market of Pakistan on Wednesday after it hit record-high earlier this week.

Data shared by All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association showed per tola gold price dropped by Rs300 to settle at Rs267,700.

Similarly, the price of 10-gram decreased by Rs257 to reach Rs229,510.

In international market, the price of the yellow commodity dropped by $18 to close at $2,569 per ounce.

Meanwhile, silver price remained unchanged in domestic market as per tola rate stands at Rs2,950 and 10-gram is being sold for Rs2,529.14.

On Monday, gold registered significant gains in domestic market of Pakistan to hit all-time. Per tola gold price moved up by Rs1,700 to settle at Rs268,000.

Similarly, the price of 10-gram gold reached Rs229,767 after recording gains of R1,700 in local market.
