Nisar in New York to attend UNGA meeting on drugs

NEW YORK (Staff Report) – Federal Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan has arrived in New York to attend the special meeting of United Nations General Assembly on the world’s drug problem.

The meeting will begin at General Assembly building today (Tuesday) and continue for three days.

In his address to the meeting, the Interior Minister will highlight measures taken by the government to control drugs.

Delegates from across the world are attending the meeting. A joint communique will also be approved in the concluding session of the meeting.
