ISLAMABAD – Pakistanis have taken a strong exception to narrowmindedness of India in the aftermath of Pulwama attack and have started a campaign to boycott Indian music applications as well.
Hours after Pakistan’s Prime Minister Imran Khan sent a strong message to India that the nation was ready to retaliate in case of any attack, Pakistani youngsters started deleting ‘developed in India’ music apps from their phones, precisely, Saavn and T-Series among others.
Dozens of social media activists are now urging the countrymen to prefer indigenous Patari music application over Indian applications, to give a befitting reply to T-Series in particular.
T-Series, an Indian music record label, had removed the songs of Pakistani singers from its youtube channel on account of Pulwama attack – as India pinned blame on Pakistan for the event without any credible evidence.

The Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS), an ultra-nationalist Indian political party, had called on all music label companies to stop working with Pakistani singers, however, T-Series succumbed to the pressure very soon.
T-Series had collaborated with Rahat Fateh Ali Khan and Atif Aslam for two different singles, however, the firm pulled down the songs in the face of rising threats.
As Pakistan vehemently denies playing any part in the attack that left over 40 Indian soldiers dead, New Delhi keeps on whipping up war hysteria on all fronts from political to show business, however, social media users in Pakistan have decided to respond to India in the same coin.
The senator of ruling Pakistan Teheek-e-Insaf, Faisal Javed Khan also took to Twitter and responded to calls for substituting Saavn with Patari.
Nice to see Pakistani music platforms take Prime Minister Imran Khan’s “let better sense prevail” line to heart, Javed said in his message.

The Pulwama attack is the worst in decades of insurgency in Jammu and Kashmir, India’s only Muslim majority state.
Analysts claim that the attack might have been a false flag owing to the upcoming elections in India as anti-Pakistan sentiments are whipped up to garner support.
The boycott of Indian music apps in Pakistan can actually prompt India to face the music of its ultra hyper-narrative about terrorism and falsely accusing Pakistan of involvement every other time.
