NEW DELHI -An Mi-17 helicopter of Indian Air Force on Wednesday crash-landed near Mana village in Chamoli district of Uttarakhand.
“Some 15-person on board received minor injuries when the helicopter crash- landed on Thastoli helipad near Mana”, Indian media reported while quoting police sources.
Prima-facie a technical fault led to the crash-landing, the sources said.
The chopper has been damaged in the incident, they said.
Earlier, local media reported that the chopper caught fire on takeoff. The helicopter was taking part in a drill with the Kumaon Regiment.
