Man Transforms Home Into Toy Palace To Keep Daughter Away From Mobile Phone

In China, a 35-year-old man named Zhang, from Henan province, transformed his home into a toy palace to help his daughter break her addiction to mobile phones.

Concerned about the increasing screen time of his young daughter, Zhang decided to change the environment at home. He believed that if he wanted to keep her away from phones and tablets, he needed to provide engaging alternatives.

Speaking to local media, Zhang explained, “If I want to stop my daughter from using a phone or tablet, it’s essential to offer her other activities.”

Zhang handcrafted around 300 toys for his daughter, including a train track that runs across the ceiling. He even turned the front door into a Tetris game and converted a power box into a Mickey Mouse hole, where the character appears seated on a small sofa.

Among the many creative additions, he also built a pink dragon, aiming to make the home environment more fun and appealing than the screens.
