Food Authority seizes 6,000 kg meat of dead, sick poultry birds in Lahore

LAHORE – Punjab Food Authority Tuesday raided Tolinton market of Lahore, recovering six thousand kilogrammes meat of dead and diseased poultry birds.

Sources said that a team of Punjab Food Authority conducted raids on different shops in Tollinton market under Safety officer Tahira Kulsoom, recovering 6,000 kg meat of sick and dead hens and sealing nine shops.

Food Authority also sealed a unit found selling boiled wings and intestines of hens in Tolinton market of the provincial market.-Online
