LAHORE -Local administration registered a case against actor Fawad Khan, after his family refused to give anti polio vaccination drops to his children on Wednesday.

The Humsafar star’s public relations team has clarified that the couple were not at home when the polio team visited to vaccinate his younger daughter, thus their refusal to dispense the vaccination drops for the crippling disease.

Fawad has not been in Pakistan since the 13th of February as he was performing at the opening ceremony of PSL in Dubai. Currently he is USA on his tour, titled, ‘Date with Fawad Khan’. The superstar’s travel history clearly indicates that he has just got to know about the FIR through press.

The vaccination of Fawad Khan’s daughter is up to date and the record is available to support the truth.

This clarification arrived after the FIR was registered against the actor when polio drops were not administrated to his daughter. Fawad Khan is fully aware of the guidelines of W.H.O and CDC and is in total support of the anti polio drive.
