MUMBAI – A 34-year old woman helped Indian police arrest a pervert who was looking at her and masturbating at Marine Drive.
The 24-year-old accused, identified as Rupak Akshad, will be produced in the court of law.
According to reports in local media, the woman was there with her friends, she noticed the man staring at her.
“At first, I ignored him thinking him he was randomly looking at us. But then, I noticed he was not only stalking us but also masturbating,” said the woman.
The woman immediately nabbed the pervert and called upon the police, the Free Press Journal reported.
”I immediately raised an alarm and nabbed the pervert. We called the police who were on patrolling duty and handed him over to them. They were very cooperative,” she added
Police said the labourer from Odisha has been booked under Sections 354 (Assault or criminal force to woman with intent to outrage her modesty), 509 (word, gesture or act to insult the modesty of a woman) of the Indian Penal Code.
