Armed robbers take away Rs1m from Rawalpindi utility store

RAWALPINDI (Online) – Four armed robbers robbed a utility store within Race Course Police jurisdiction in Rawalpindi during the last 24 hour.

Malik Asif, an owner of franchised utility store, lodged a complaint with the local police on Tuesday. According to the store owner, four armed robbers made their way into the utility store, held the employees and customers hostage at gunpoint, and made away with unspecified amount of cash, and other belongings worth Rs1 million.

The police have registered a case and started investigation.
